Camp Pendleton Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF)

The Camp Pendleton Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) primarily serves Military Working Dogs, but also offers preventive care for privately-owned dogs and cats of the military community. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, travel health certificates, limited sick calls, and elective surgeries. Emergencies, hospitalization, advanced diagnostics, and non-elective surgeries are referred to off-base clinics. Pet registration is handled separately by Animal Control. The VTF closes at 11:30 AM on the last business day of the month for inventory and is closed on all Federal Holidays. Prescription refills require 24-72 hours notice.
