Sunset Point Animal Hospital

Sunset Point Animal Hospital was established in 1976. In 1992, Dr. Richard Brutus purchased the practice and hired Dr. Kevin Conrad as an associate. Before becoming the sole owner in 1997, Dr. Conrad partnered with Dr. Brutus and chartered the first spay and neuter program for the Humane Society of North Pinellas. In 2008, Dr. Conrad expanded the clinic from a two-exam room hospital to a five-exam room hospital. Dr. Chris Freeman joined the hospital in 2011, while Dr. Conrad transitioned to a career in the non-profit sector.
